Upon arrival at Coastal Campers in Whitianga, you will be given a comprehensive tour of your campervan or motorhome so you can get full use of the facilities.

We’ll complete the rental agreement together and an imprint of your credit card will be taken which acts as your insurance excess & security bond.  See our terms & conditions. You can safely leave your car parked at our depot free of charge.

We are easy to find in Whitianga, from the south simply follow the signs to the town centre and you'll come right past us. If you are arriving from the north, head south along Albert Street, (the main street) and turn right when you see the sign to Tairua or SH25. Again you'll come right past us.

For International Visitors          
If you arrive via Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga Airports, we can provide transfers for you to Coastal Campers in Whitianga or we can meet you at the airport with the motorhome or campervan.  Just tell us what time you arrive and we’ll be there.

(As we are based 2.5 hours from these airports, please note there is a small fee of $100 each way for airport delivery and collection or transfers).

For Auckland Airport pick-ups, when you arrive please make your way to the Airport Shopping Centre car-park on the corner of George Bolt Memorial Drive (the main access road to the airport) and John Goulter Drive Manukau. This is a short 2km journey from the airport terminals. When you enter the car-park you will find the motorhome parked along the left and your name will be displayed in the front window. Please note we do not have a depot or office at this location. There is a large supermarket and other stores here where you can get supplies.

You can get to the Airport Shopping Centre by cab, taxi or bus. The bright orange 380 Manukau Airporter bus travels every 15-30 minutes from outside the airport terminal to the shopping centre.

For all Hamilton and Tauranga Airport pick-ups, when you arrive please make your way out to the terminal car-park. We will have the motorhome parked there with your name displayed in the front window. Please note we do not have a depot or office at these locations.

If you have travelled on a long-haul flight to reach us, please think about your safety. Reduce the tired driving risk by spending the first night in a motel and get a good nights sleep before driving long distances. That way you'll be able to enjoy the scenery much more. Stopping every two hours at a fuel station or scenic rest area to take some time out will make your drive a lot easier and more interesting.
